08/02/2010: Okay, Amazon? ABSOLUTELY ALL IS FORGIVEN. I got Call of Pripyat on Saturday and IT IS AWESOME. I'm really enjoying it, especially the improvements they've made to the A-Life system. Last night, I stood on the desk of the Skadovsk, watching the Stalkers come in for the night. Strangely enough, a group of bandits wandered out of the ship, obviously on their way to the camp on the hill off in the distance. After a somewhat tense passing with a group of Stalkers, where they looked at each other warily but no shots were fired, the bandits continued on... But oh wait, what's that? I'm sure I saw the flash of a humanoid shape STREAKING across the hill into a bush. And is that a pack of blind dogs waiting down the hill, obviously having spotted the bandits? Oh no, it's a bloodsucker and it's beating the crap out of the bandits! Holy cow, they're doing alright! Oh no wait, the dogs have seized their opportunity and are now feasting on the bandits entrails while they're distracted. And the bloodsucker is moving off to the next Stalker camp... Awesome :D
